An Explanation of Titles

For the majority of my posts I plan to share what would normally be private journal entries or thoughts I have written in my spare time observing or pondering my few and limited thoughts. I share these thoughts in the hope that I might spark conversation, debate, or provoke thoughts.
Now as to the titles:
My thoughts on "Villains often win" are based off thoughts as a small child watching Power Rangers and always getting frustrated at the fact that every single episode the Power Rangers would win in the exact same way without any variation. Even as a kid I didn't understand how the "Good Guys" could win every time without fail. So I decided in my mind that could not be the case, as I could see even within the news that bad guys can prevail, innocent people die, and even good people do bad things. I also came to the conclusion that people's perceptions of said Bad Guy's actions or accusations are what determines if a person is good or bad. While this idea is quite rudimentary, it was the conceptual catalyst, that gave birth to the way I observe and see the world. While my opinion and ideas may not be unique or vary even in the slightest from many people before myself, I have yet to find another person like myself--alive at least--to whom I could discuss a thought process similar to mine. So I have started this blog to voice my thoughts--pessimistic ones--with the hope (as much as I hate the word) that there are others, or maybe even with the hope that no one could be as negative as I myself am. For I direly wish to see the world in beautiful colors and to see the decency in humanity without considering all the darkness that accompanies it. I look for answers, because the ones I have found so far have not proved satisfactory.

Thanatopsis: noun- a view or contemplation of death.
This title I suppose speaks for itself. Though it would suggest emotional teenage angst which is not at all what I hope to instill within the minds of anyone. I think of it as almost a merry and peaceful thought towards the eventual and inevitable end. Though I do not wish to delve into this matter as I did with the previous for I presume that will it reappear within my thoughts and ideas many times throughout this blog. So I will let the definition speak for itself, and allow you as the reader to determine what I believe it means.
